Senior Network Deployment Engineer

NVIDIA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Deployment Engineer with 8+ years of progressive experience to lead complex, large-scale network deployment projects from inception to completion. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining high-performance enterprise network connectivity, including cloud connectivity, WAN peerings, and data center builds. Network automation using Ansible and Python is a key component of the role, along with project management and end-to-end global site deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, implementation, and optimization of complex cloud and WAN core network infrastructures.
• Manage end-to-end site deployments, from requirements gathering and architecture design through configuration, testing, cutover, and operational handover.
• Collaborate with internal IT, security, data center, and facilities teams, as well as external vendors.
• Create, maintain, and enforce network documentation, including diagrams, standards, templates, and best practices.
• Drive network automation initiatives using Python, Ansible, Netmiko, and related tools for configuration management, deployment, and operational tasks.
• Provide advanced, third-level troubleshooting and act as an escalation point for complex network issues.
• Manage project timelines and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget completion, while providing regular status updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive network engineering experience, including significant hands-on responsibility for large-scale data center, WAN, or enterprise network design and deployment.
• Strong fundamentals in TCP/IP, routing and switching, and hands-on experience conducting production cutovers.
• Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with Cisco, Arista, or Cumulus Linux.
• Deep technical knowledge of BGP and IP routing, including EVPN/VXLAN leaf-spine or Clos/fat-tree architectures, routing policy, segmentation, and multi-tenant networking.
• Security experience with Palo Alto firewalls, enterprise firewall policy, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with load balancers such as F5 and Citrix and their integration with enterprise network services.
• Proficiency in Linux for troubleshooting, tooling, and deploying and operating network services.
• Experience with packet capture tools such as Wireshark.
• At least medium proficiency automating workflows with Python and frameworks such as Ansible and Salt.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to own multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNP, CCIE, or comparable advanced industry certifications.
• Strong experience with SD-WAN and IPsec VPN design, deployment, and operations.
• Experience integrating network deployments with monitoring, telemetry, dashboards, alerting, validation, and performance analysis platforms.
• A track record of delivering repeatable, automated site builds using standardized templates, validation gates, and deployment pipelines.
