Details

NVIDIA is developing AI-powered solutions for computers, robots, and self-driving cars. As a member of the perception team, you will design, develop, and productize autonomous driving solutions by building robust, efficient, and reusable perception software components in collaboration with perception engineers and researchers.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Write well-designed, testable code.
  • Integrate perception software components into fully functional software systems.
  • Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
  • Document and maintain software functionality.
  • Solve, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
  • Stay aligned with project plans and industry standards.
  • Deploy state-of-the-art perception deep neural network (DNN) models to embedded platforms.
  • Analyze and improve systems using real and synthetic benchmark data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer working on embedded platforms for real-time applications.
  • Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
  • Experience with test-driven development.
  • Experience with a disciplined, design-based approach to software development.
  • Proficiency with software engineering tools.
  • Ability to document requirements and specifications.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CUDA or SIMD.
  • Hands-on experience deploying DNN models to embedded platforms for real-time applications.
  • Experience using simulated or synthetic data to improve machine learning model accuracy.
  • Background with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Experience with integration and testing on real hardware or robotic platforms.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range is $224,000–$356,500 USD per year, determined by location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
