Details

NVIDIA DGX Cloud is an AI supercomputing-as-a-service substrate designed to power the next generation of AI and industrial-scale breakthroughs. As a Security Engineer within the Infrastructure Security Engineering organization, you will architect and build foundational security primitives that protect large-scale GPU clusters. You will design automated, resilient security systems to help ensure the integrity of omni-cloud and on-premise AI infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and integrate production-grade security services, transforming third-party and open-source tools into seamless, API-driven components of the DGX Cloud security stack.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code and Policy as Code to automate security enforcement and compliance at cloud-scale deployment speed.
  • Architect and implement the security control plane, including automated guardrails, controllers, and runtime security policies that validate and enforce tenant boundaries.
  • Design and operate scalable security services, including self-service security primitives such as Identity-as-a-Service, automated secrets management, and real-time scanning APIs.
  • Develop internal security frameworks and automated response systems across the full software development lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Conduct deep-dive threat modeling on complex distributed systems and the DGX Cloud stack, identifying architectural security gaps and engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate with DGX Cloud platform teams, NVIDIA security teams, and product engineering to embed security into CI/CD pipelines and the hardware lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Typically 8+ years of experience in SRE, software engineering, infrastructure security, or related infrastructure engineering roles.
  • Strong software engineering background with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested production code at scale.
  • Understanding of cloud-native architecture, container orchestration with Kubernetes, and security challenges in high-throughput, low-latency environments.
  • Experience transforming complex security requirements into robust, API-first internal services.
  • Proven experience integrating security products such as AuthN/AuthZ, vaulting, scanning, and intrusion detection systems into automated infrastructure using APIs and custom integration code.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems security, including kernel-level primitives such as eBPF, AppArmor, or SELinux.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience securing high-performance computing environments, RDMA-based networks, or GPU-specific infrastructure.
  • Expertise in workload identity frameworks such as SPIFFE/SPIRE.
  • Experience integrating hardware roots of trust, including TPM or HSM.
  • Contributions to security-focused open-source projects or engineering-focused security research.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary for Level 4: CAD 170,000–220,000 per year.
  • Base salary for Level 5: CAD 225,000–275,000 per year.
  • Eligible for equity and benefits.
  • Applications will be accepted at least until August 26, 2026.
  • This posting is for an existing vacancy.
  • NVIDIA uses AI tools in its recruiting processes.
