Details

As a Senior Software Architect on the GPU Networking Architecture team, you will define Software Defined Networking (SDN) architectural solutions and work with specialists across modern data center technologies, including distributed AI and deep learning systems, Networking Operating Systems, virtualization, storage, and more.

Responsibilities

Define system and software architecture for Software Defined Networking (SDN) in emerging AI networks involving innovative software and hardware.
Promote team specifications and activities with US-based customers and GPU Networking peers.
Help establish use cases and metrics for monitoring the control plane of complex, high-speed networks.
Collaborate with groups across NVIDIA to bring AI networking technologies to reality, including GPU and switch hardware and software teams, product teams, and fellow architects.

Requirements

B.Sc., M.Sc., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of proven experience as a software architect.
Proven networking experience.
A can-do attitude, high energy, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability and flexibility to work and communicate effectively in a multinational, multi-time-zone corporate environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Software Defined Networking (SDN) definition or development experience.
Hands-on InfiniBand experience.
Kubernetes experience.
Strong communication skills.
