Details

Grafana Labs is hiring a customer-facing Solutions Engineer to serve as a product expert for Grafana Cloud and related observability technologies. The role involves educating prospective and existing customers, delivering technical demonstrations and evaluations, supporting complex sales opportunities, and communicating customer feedback to Product Management and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Sales team to articulate Grafana's value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
Own technical customer engagements and help close complex opportunities through competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility.
Deliver product and technical presentations to prospective and existing customers.
Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams about products and the competitive landscape.
Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems.
Enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge base articles, and create other public or private enablement materials.
Listen to prospect and customer requirements, ask relevant questions, and translate requirements into solutions using Grafana Labs technology.

Requirements

5+ years of technical pre-sales experience.
Strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership skills for handling varied and complex assignments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with remote-first internal teams and worldwide customers.
Ability to articulate the value proposition and technical advantages of Grafana products.
Enjoyment of solving technical challenges and developing creative customer solutions.
A technical mindset and desire to grow technically.
Must be located in Sweden.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with open-source technologies or metrics and monitoring.
Experience with sales methodologies such as MEDD(P)ICC.
