Details
Anthropic’s Enterprise AI Products team builds products that make Claude a daily-use tool for enterprise customers across industries. The team focuses on organizational context and workflows, including plugins, skills, connectors, webhook-triggered processes, and agents. Much of this work is being built from 0 to 1, requiring technical leadership in product and architecture development.
The role involves thinking holistically about the end-to-end customer experience, partnering directly with research to bring model capabilities into production, and owning what the team ships next.
Responsibilities
- Own technical design and delivery for enterprise-facing core products across the full stack.
- Partner with product, design, and go-to-market teams to turn enterprise customer workflows into shipped products.
- Set technical direction and standards for architecture, code quality, and development practices.
- Work directly with enterprise customers and sales during key conversations, translating customer insights into engineering priorities.
- Collaborate with research to improve models in the relevant domain by shaping evaluations, identifying failure modes, and feeding customer learnings into model development.
- Mentor other engineers and raise the technical bar across the team through influence rather than authority.
- Build multi-player, asynchronous agents for department-level processes that are goal-oriented, multi-step, and triggered by webhooks, forms, or email.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, ideally including 2+ years at Staff level or equivalent technical leadership experience.
- Experience leading the design and delivery of complex enterprise or B2B products across the full stack.
- Experience building AI products and turning model capabilities into practical applications.
- Comfort working directly with enterprise customers and translating customer feedback into technical decisions.
- Experience building products from 0 to 1 in fast-moving environments.
- Ability to set technical direction with limited precedent and drive cross-team alignment through influence.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Relevant field of study demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience working with research to improve domain-specific model capabilities, including evaluation frameworks.
- Experience building extensibility surfaces such as plugins, integrations, or agent tooling for third parties or internal teams.
- Exposure to both product-led growth and direct enterprise sales.
Benefits
Anthropic offers competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and an office environment for collaboration.
