Details

Reddit is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to join the Ads TPM team within the Technical Program Management Office (Tech PMO), supporting the Ads Product & Engineering organization. The role focuses on leading cross-functional technical initiatives across multiple engineering teams in the Ads Monetization engineering space. The Technical Program Manager will partner with engineering leaders to evaluate prioritization, tradeoffs, and risks related to owned programs.

The Tech PMO operates within the CTO organization to accelerate, scale, and empower teams across Reddit. Technical Program Managers use technical judgment to define and drive large programs across multiple engineering teams, support planning and execution, identify root causes and alternative solutions, and reduce organizational inefficiencies.

Responsibilities

Drive technical programs and cross-functional initiatives to completion, delivering measurable business outcomes.
Develop a detailed understanding of projects and partner with teams on planning and decision-making.
Create and improve repeatable processes that reduce organizational toil and improve execution quality.
Reuse processes and support the adoption of relevant organizational standards.
Mentor colleagues and informally support the development of organizational and project skills.
Lead projects and help teams improve their organization and execution.
Bring order and structure to complex programs so teams can continue succeeding after the program concludes.
Partner with engineering leaders across Reddit to evaluate prioritization, tradeoffs, and program risks.

Requirements

8+ years of combined experience in engineering and program management roles.
At least 4 years of experience focused on digital advertising platforms or ads monetization.
Strong communication and influencing skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization.
Proactive, curious, and creative approach to problem-solving.
Pragmatic and iterative approach to developing processes and systems.
Technical depth and judgment.
Analytical problem-solving experience with large-scale systems.
