Details
NVIDIA is seeking a highly motivated and creative engineer with experience in system software to join the GPU Software team. The role will contribute to game engine profiling and GPU software development for cloud-based GPUs.
Responsibilities
- Profile game engines, such as Unreal Engine 5, and use these frameworks to improve game performance for cloud-based GPUs.
- Work on GPU pre-silicon and post-silicon performance profiling and tuning.
Requirements
- Pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on technical background.
- Excellent skills in C, C++, Perl or Python, and graphics rendering APIs such as DirectX 11 or DirectX 12.
- Familiarity with computer system architecture, microprocessors, and microcontroller fundamentals, including caches, buses, memory controllers, and DMA.
- Experience with complex system-level debugging.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of game engines.
- Experience working in virtualized environments such as KVM.
- Experience working with virtual machines and Docker.
- Familiarity with large-scale code profiling.

Compensation
For Poland, the annual internship pay range is 117,750 PLN–204,100 PLN, prorated for the duration of the internship. Pay is based on the position, location, year in school, degree, and experience.
