Details

NVIDIA is recruiting an Applied Research Intern to join the Nemotron post-training team. The team works on next-generation Nemotron post-training and open-source software such as NeMo-RL. The role focuses on designing large deep learning systems for natural language processing and optimizing AI algorithms for new and expanding applications.

Responsibilities

Develop and prototype new algorithms and models for AI model post-training.
Contribute to open-source projects such as NeMo-RL and to the next version of Nemotron models.
Publish internship project results.

Requirements

Pursuing a master's or PhD degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
Master's students with a strong publication record will also be considered.
Excellent Python programming skills.
Strong knowledge of deep learning for natural language processing.
Experience with PyTorch or JAX.
Ability to work independently.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large sets of experiments.

Preferred Qualifications

Contributions to open-source projects. Applicants should include links to their open-source contributions.
