- Fluency in at least one general-purpose programming language such as Python, Lua, Go, or TypeScript, plus shell scripting.
- Experience with Git-based workflows, code review, automated testing, CI/CD, logging, and observability.
- Understanding of DSP and control systems, conferencing platforms, room devices, signal flow, and AV-over-IP.
- Experience building integrations with REST APIs, webhooks, and vendor SDKs, including authentication, rate limits, pagination, retries, and partial failure handling.
- Experience owning production tools or services over time, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and handoff.
- Experience defining engineering practices for teams whose contributors may not be developers.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Additional Experience
- Q-SYS Lua scripting and plugin development.
- Logitech Sync, CollabOS, and Google Meet hardware administration through Google Admin Console and Admin SDK.
- Google Workspace APIs, GCP services such as Cloud Run, Cloud Scheduler, Pub/Sub, and Secret Manager, and Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Jira, Slack, and PagerDuty APIs and automation.
- Crestron, Extron, or other control-system programming.
- Dante, AES67, NDI, multicast, VLANs, QoS, and other AV-over-IP networking fundamentals.
- LLM-based automation, agentic automation, LLM-assisted internal tools, or MCP integrations.
- Prometheus, Grafana, containerized deployment, Q-SYS Level 2, or CTS certification.
