Join Anthropic’s Commercial Legal team as a Technical AI Implementation Specialist. The role focuses on using Claude and other technologies to scale legal operations, improve internal tooling, drive AI adoption, and lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

• Implement AI-powered solutions to streamline contract review and redlining processes.
• Manage integrations between existing legal systems and AI tools.
• Develop automated self-service solutions for high-volume, low-touch contracting processes, including FAQ chatbots and guided workflows.
• Create AI-based tools for commercial contract diligence requests.
• Optimize contract management platforms with AI capabilities.
• Create and manage comprehensive program plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Build and maintain metrics dashboards to track efficiency improvements.
• Establish practical governance processes for AI use in legal operations.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Product teams on solution development.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues that could affect program success.

Requirements

• Experience evaluating and implementing legal technology platforms, such as contract management systems, workflow management systems, or document management tools.
• Genuine curiosity about AI and machine learning applications, with hands-on experience using large language model tools, especially Claude.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate legal business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills with both technical and legal stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical projects simultaneously.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in legal operations, legal technology, or technical roles supporting legal teams is preferred.
• Technical aptitude with system integration knowledge is preferred.
• Familiarity with common LLM frameworks and tools, or a background in machine learning or data science, is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven project management skills, including prioritization, meeting deadlines, managing multiple projects, and delivering quality results.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Work Policy

Staff are expected to work from the San Francisco or New York office at least 3 days per week. Anthropic also states that staff are generally expected to be in one of its offices at least 25% of the time.

Compensation

The annual salary range is $170,000–$220,000 USD.
