Details

Nord Security is seeking a Data Analyst to support threat intelligence initiatives and help develop analytics focused on cybersecurity threats, application vulnerabilities, and anomaly detection.

Responsibilities

Gather, clean, and analyze new and existing data sources to support the development of analytical initiatives.
Provide insights and suggestions for enhancing analytical solutions, including anomaly detection, application vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity threats.
Design intuitive dashboards and alerts to visualize and communicate key insights from quantitative analysis.
Develop and maintain reliable code, ensuring thorough documentation of service implementation.
Collaborate with cross-functional product teams and provide detailed quantitative analysis to inform strategic decisions.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in data analysis or a related analytical field.
Proficiency in SQL, with a comprehensive understanding of data structures and system infrastructures.
Expertise in extracting data from a variety of databases.
Ability to communicate with different teams and investigate the root causes of anomalies and outliers.
Ability to research, debug, and troubleshoot effectively.
Proficiency in Python or another programming language.
Practical experience with libraries for data manipulation and visualization.
Strong ability to communicate insights and analytical findings to stakeholders, including presentation skills.
Familiarity with statistical concepts such as hypothesis testing, regression analysis, data sampling techniques, and Bayesian inference.
Ability to prioritize tasks and select appropriate analytical tools and techniques for specific challenges.
Accountability, ownership, initiative, and commitment to delivering results.
Willingness to learn and adapt while staying informed about developments in data analysis.
