Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. The Collaboration team helps Stripe employees work smarter and more efficiently through internal tools and AI-native experiences.

Responsibilities

Work with a team of engineers who put users first.
Own solutions end to end, from success metrics and MCP tooling to implementation details.
Build innovative AI-native experiences that improve employee productivity.
Collaborate with teams across Stripe and engage directly with stakeholders and users.
Leverage AI tooling to optimize user workflows and engineering processes.
Use qualitative and quantitative metrics to determine priorities and measure effectiveness.
Maintain high standards for engineering and product quality.
Mentor newer team members.

Requirements

6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
2+ years of industry experience building rich web experiences using modern frameworks such as React or Vue.
Ability to work across the full stack, from user experience and workflow automation to reliability.
Ability to work directly with users and cross-functional partners to build creative solutions.
Strong judgment, rigorous thinking, and the ability to navigate ambiguity and make tradeoffs.
Ability to collaborate toward common goals while driving work forward autonomously.

Preferred Qualifications

Passion for enabling people to do their best work.
Interest in partnering with creative, non-technical teams, including creative communications and publishing teams.
Experience shipping LLM-powered experiences and understanding the underlying technologies.
Industry experience with Ruby, TypeScript, and React.
Experience using AI tools to improve technical throughput while maintaining high quality.
