Details

Are you a HBO or WO student with a skill or affinity for financial reporting and/or accounting? This internship offers the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and gain work experience in regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

The internship focuses on improving the quality of the bank's regulatory reporting processes through several ongoing and planned internal initiatives, including:

  • Creating a heatmap dashboard to provide an overview of reports within the team and improve related KPIs.
  • Developing a skills matrix to determine relevant skill tracks for team members and facilitate their development.
  • Developing a dashboard to track the degree of manual intervention in reports and identifying ways to reduce it.
  • Gathering, providing, and implementing stakeholder feedback to improve relationships with key stakeholders.

You will work in the Financial & Statistical Reporting team, which is part of the Finance function. The team is responsible for regulatory reporting and communicates extensively with internal stakeholders, including Risk Management and different business lines.

Requirements

  • HBO or WO student in the Netherlands.
  • Registered at a Dutch college or university for the full duration of the internship.
  • Affinity with Power BI or a similar data visualization tool.
  • Availability to start as soon as possible.
  • Full-time availability of 32 to 40 hours per week for a minimum of four months.
  • Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to deconstruct problems and reconsider possible solutions.
  • Ability to communicate information accurately and clearly, preferably using visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Flexibility to work in dynamic environments.
  • Ability to work autonomously and without supervision.
  • Proactive, hands-on, detail-oriented, organized, reliable, and results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Motivational drive and eagerness to learn.
