Details

We are looking for a Retention Data Lead to guide a small team of retention analysts consisting of 2–3 people. This role combines hands-on analytics with people leadership. You will own retention data across the subscription business and shape how the company understands why users renew, engage, and churn.

The team uses SQL, BigQuery, dbt, Looker, and other modern tools to turn user data into actionable insights, dashboards, and predictive models. The goal is to make retention data actionable across the company, unlock new models and analytical approaches, and improve retention rates and user engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Own the retention analytics strategy end-to-end, connecting user behavior, lifecycle impact, engagement drivers, and business outcomes into a single, decision-ready framework.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 2–3 analysts, balancing hands-on work with setting priorities and growing the team’s capabilities.
  • Support stakeholders across the company with analysis, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Develop and review data models in dbt, dashboards in Looker, and analyses using SQL, BigQuery, and other tools.
  • Analyze user behavior and build new models, including churn prediction, cohort analysis, engagement scoring, and LTV models, that translate into actionable insights.
  • Define, standardize, and monitor retention KPIs and metrics, embedding analytics into the decision-making process.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics and business insights, ideally with a focus on retention, product, or user analytics.
  • Strong SQL and BigQuery skills, with experience in dbt and Looker or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Experience mentoring or leading analysts.
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in SaaS, subscription-based businesses, technology, or cybersecurity.
  • Familiarity with experimentation practices and attribution models.
  • Understanding of how AI and LLMs are shaping analytical practices.
  • Knowledge of lifecycle or CRM platforms.

Benefits

  • Extensive online and in-person training programs, access to Coursera and Skillshare, mentorship, and internal career opportunities.
  • Extra vacation days that increase with tenure, plus additional days off for sick leave, special occasions, and parenting.
  • Premium private health insurance available in Lithuania and Poland.
  • Free subscriptions to Calm and Headspace, resilience and mindfulness training, and mental health events.
  • In-house gyms, Multisport and Urban Sport cards, online workouts, mobility sessions, fitness guidance, and individual consultations.
  • Company workations abroad.
  • The ability to work from different locations.
  • Gifts for birthdays, work anniversaries, weddings, and new family members.
  • Summer camps for children and flexible arrangements for parents.
  • Team-building activities and company events.
  • Access to the Vilnius headquarters, including silent rooms, gyms, a game room, a music room, and a coffee bar.
