Details

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced Software Manager to lead a team developing NVLINK Switches and GPUs over firmware in the PHY connectivity layer. This role is responsible for development and verification across firmware and software layers supporting next-generation networking technologies and large-scale deployments in high-performance computing (HPC) data centers.

Responsibilities

Manage and lead a high-impact team responsible for development and verification across software and firmware layers.
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for strategic customers.
Investigate issues in customer setups and support new system bring-up processes using NVLINK technology.
Own the development of major features end to end.
Remain hands-on approximately 50% of the time with operating-system software coding and debugging.
Collaborate with offshore teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field, or equivalent experience.
At least 8 years of overall technical experience.
At least 3 years of experience managing a team.
Programming skills in Python, C, and C++.
Experience leading software or firmware development teams and mentoring team members.
Ability to self-teach and learn quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

Linux and networking experience.
Experience working directly with customers.
Master's degree or equivalent experience.
Excellent social and written communication skills.
Experience building AI flows and agents to improve development efficiency.
