NVIDIA is advancing AI and accelerated computing for applications including robotics and self-driving vehicles. The Autonomous Vehicles Program Management team is seeking an experienced manager to own the end-to-end development of new autonomous driving features for NVIDIA's autonomous vehicle platform.

The role will lead software development execution for NVIDIA's autonomous driving software stack, supporting automakers, Tier 1 suppliers, automotive research institutions, and startups developing autonomous cars, trucks, shuttles, and taxis.

Responsibilities

  • Own the delivery roadmap and health of autonomy software programs, aligning execution with vehicle programs and customer timelines.
  • Lead and grow a team of experienced technical program managers, including hiring and professional development.
  • Personally lead critical and technically demanding programs by participating in design reviews, integration planning, and issue investigations.
  • Partner with program, product, and engineering leaders to turn strategy and ambiguous goals into executable plans with defined scope, milestones, accountable owners, and measurable outcomes.
  • Establish and run program governance, including planning, execution tracking, risk management, and reporting.
  • Drive cross-functional delivery of software features across engineering, testing and validation, regulatory, and customer teams.
  • Resolve complex interdependencies and systemic risks.
  • Build partnerships across software, testing, regulatory affairs, and vehicle program teams.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point and senior representative in cross-functional and executive forums.
  • Provide concise updates that translate complex technical and regulatory risks into decision points and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience leading a team.
  • At least 8 years of overall relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in automotive, perception, path planning, robotics, and/or artificial intelligence.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate on global projects across teams and time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading the end-to-end development of ADAS or self-driving features.
  • Experience as a software engineer, software quality assurance engineer, or systems engineer.
  • Experience in a fast-paced automotive OEM or supplier environment.
