The Account & Platform Integrity Operations team protects OpenAI’s ecosystem by ensuring that users, developers, partners, and organizations can access and build on the platform safely and responsibly. The team works across account integrity, fraud prevention, abuse detection, and platform risk to prevent bad actors from exploiting OpenAI’s products and developer surfaces.
This role sits within the Account & Platform Integrity Operations team and partners closely with teams across the Ecosystem organization to help the platform scale rapidly without compromising trust, quality, safety, or developer experience.
Responsibilities
- Own operational processes that help developers bring apps, plugins, and integrations to market, from submission and review through launch, appeals, and ongoing monitoring.
- Manage external review partners and policy operations workflows, applying standards consistently while identifying opportunities to improve guidance, processes, and quality expectations.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Policy, Legal, Security, Developer Experience, and Go-to-Market teams to translate platform goals and requirements into effective operating processes.
- Lead high-priority partner reviews and escalations, balancing speed to launch with user trust and consistent standards.
- Create feedback loops across product, policy, tooling, and developer experience teams to reduce developer friction and improve integration quality over time.
- Lead automation and AI-driven initiatives, including agentic workflows, to improve the speed, consistency, and scale of review and support processes.
- Serve as a senior cross-functional partner, using operational expertise and platform insights to help shape product strategy and improve the ecosystem.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in program management, developer operations, product operations, or related fields.
- Comfort engaging with technical concepts such as MCP, APIs, OAuth, authentication, permissions, and data flows, even without writing production code.
- Strong operational judgment and the ability to balance speed, safety, and business priorities.
- Ability to structure ambiguous, cross-functional problems and drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Policy, Legal, Security, and Operations.
- Systems-oriented thinking, with the ability to identify recurring patterns and build durable processes instead of one-off solutions.
- Experience using AI and automation to reduce manual work, improve quality, and scale operational processes.
- Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences, including the ability to translate complex requirements into practical guidance.
- Commitment to developer and partner experience while maintaining consistent standards that protect the platform and its users.
Benefits
- Base salary of $252,000–$280,000 per year, plus equity.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance, with employer contributions to Health Savings Accounts.
- Pre-tax accounts for health, dependent care, and commuter expenses.
- 401(k) retirement plan with employer match.
