Details

Coinbase Advanced Trading owns the trading experience for its most active users. The Product Manager II will own trading user experience end-to-end across web and mobile within the Consumer & Business group. This role requires deep trading fluency and close partnership with engineering and design to improve the trading platform.

Coinbase is a remote-first, but not remote-only company. Employees are expected to meet quarterly for in-person working sessions called “surges.”

Responsibilities

Own trading UX end-to-end across web and mobile platforms, independent of any single product or instrument, from problem definition through launch and post-launch iteration.
Identify high-impact opportunities in trading flows using trading fluency and an understanding of relevant platform nuances.
Define and execute a roadmap of trading platform improvements, scoping work with engineering, design, and data teams against clear milestones.
Run experiments and define metrics to evaluate trading flow performance.
Use data to continuously optimize product decisions.
Align stakeholders across the trading organization on a shared product vision and steer execution against it.

Requirements

5+ years of product management experience, including experience shipping consumer-facing products at scale.
Demonstrated trading or trading-product fluency in areas such as brokerage, market-making, institutional trading, or derivatives.
Ability to independently assess trading flow design and platform nuance without onboarding on trading fundamentals.
Experience partnering cross-functionally with engineering, design, and data teams to ship complex, high-visibility features from concept through post-launch iteration.
Passion for cryptocurrency, financial markets, and the Coinbase mission.
Familiarity with onchain activity such as wallets, ENS, or dApps is preferred.
Ability to use generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
