Responsibilities

Own and improve the reliability of Bloomberg’s client-facing systems in production environments.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in live production systems.
Identify patterns and implement measures to prevent future incidents.
Improve system resilience and long-term performance.
Partner closely with clients and internal teams (Engineering, Product, and client teams) to support mission-critical trading, regulatory, and data workflows.

Requirements

A recent degree in computer science, engineering or related field OR 3+ years of experience in technical support, production engineering, or a similar role.
Experience troubleshooting distributed systems or networked environments.
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, connectivity, data flows).
Experience with integration or messaging technologies (e.g., APIs, FIX, MQ, SFTP, or similar).
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Working knowledge of SQL or databases (mentioned as desirable).

Nice to have

Exposure to financial services, trading workflows, or regulatory environments.
Experience working directly with clients or external stakeholders.
Familiarity with data transformation or integration tools (e.g., Informatica, MuleSoft, TIBCO).

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: 90,000 - 130,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus.
