Details

Design, build, and maintain the Salesforce platform supporting Anthropic’s Partnerships business, including deal registration, partner attribution, co-sell, and cloud marketplace operations. The role translates partner-channel requirements into scalable Apex, Flow, and integration solutions and uses Claude and internal AI development tooling as part of the development and code-review workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build Salesforce infrastructure for deal registration workflows, channel-conflict detection, partner attribution, and partner account hierarchies.
  • Develop and maintain Apex triggers, services, selectors, batch and queueable processes, Lightning Web Components, and Flow automation.
  • Build and own integrations between Salesforce and partner-ecosystem systems, including AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud marketplaces, PRM tools, and middleware.
  • Configure partner-facing portals with appropriate sharing, visibility, and license-model design.
  • Use Claude and internal AI development tooling as part of the build and code-review workflow.
  • Work with Revenue Operations analysts to ensure data-model decisions support partner-performance reporting.
  • Partner with DevOps on sandbox strategy, source control, peer review, and deployment using SFDX and metadata tooling.
  • Maintain appropriate controls, test coverage, and documentation.
  • Resolve problems independently and propose solutions that scale in a rapidly changing business environment.

Requirements

  • Hands-on Salesforce development experience in a production organization using Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and Flow.
  • Experience building or maintaining partner and channel functionality in Salesforce, such as deal registration, partner portals, attribution models, or co-sell opportunity management.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external platforms through REST or Bulk APIs, middleware such as Workato or MuleSoft, or direct callouts.
  • Fluency with SFDX, source-controlled metadata, and sandbox-to-production release processes with peer review.
  • Active use of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Cursor, with the ability to explain how their output is guided and verified.
  • Basic SQL skills and comfort working with a data warehouse.
  • Effective communication with sales, partnerships, finance, and engineering stakeholders.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Five or more years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications.
  • Advanced Administrator or Application/System Architect certification.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce platform constraints, including governor limits, bulkification, sharing and visibility, and recursion control.
  • Cloud-marketplace integration experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with partner-specific integration platforms such as Workspan.
  • Experience scaling Salesforce in a high-growth go-to-market environment.

Compensation

  • Annual salary: $220,000–$270,000 USD.

Work Policy and Sponsorship

  • Hybrid policy: Staff are expected to work from an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time, although some roles may require more office time.
  • Anthropic explicitly states that it sponsors visas and will make reasonable efforts to obtain a visa if an offer is made, although sponsorship is not guaranteed for every role or candidate.

Benefits

Anthropic offers competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and an office environment for collaboration.
