Details

Join NVIDIA's Solutions Engineering team, which is building scalable solutions for autonomous vehicles to create safer and more efficient roads. The team works closely with external partners and NVIDIA teams to develop, integrate, and deploy autonomous driving solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the application software architecture for perception and sensor fusion in collaboration with architecture and software development teams.
  • Integrate and adapt NVIDIA solutions in target vehicles, tuning perception and sensor fusion to meet driving performance and functionality requirements.
  • Lead bring-up activities and provide technical support to resolve functional, perception, and sensor fusion issues.
  • Perform in-vehicle and simulation test drives for functional and performance analysis using recorded data.
  • Work with partners to integrate hardware and software components, understand system architecture, profile performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive optimization.
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams in the United States, APAC, and Europe to deploy solutions to customers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related software development experience in deep learning and/or autonomous driving technologies.
  • Experience developing and deploying deep learning-based perception solutions across diverse sensor modalities, including cameras, lidar, ultrasonics, and radar.
  • Familiarity with the data flywheel for scaling deep learning-based perception solutions.
  • Strong understanding of sensor processing pipelines and their lifecycle.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, robotics, electrical engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent C/C++ development skills and good knowledge of Python.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced development lifecycles, multifunctional organizations, new technologies, and new platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills, innovative problem-solving ability, and outstanding attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with automotive design processes and standards, including ISO 26262 FuSa, ISO 21448 SOTIF, and ASPICE.
  • Experience with in-vehicle testing, simulation, and development guided by measurable outcomes.
  • Familiarity with the NVIDIA DRIVE platform, NVIDIA GPU hardware, and CUDA programming.
  • Software development experience on QNX or an equivalent real-time operating system.
  • Contributions to or ownership of open-source projects and experience mentoring others.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range is USD 152,000–241,500 for Level 3 and USD 184,000–287,500 for Level 4. Compensation is determined based on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
