Details
NVIDIA's Architecture Modeling group is looking for architects, functional modeling engineers, and simulation experts to support architecture efforts across GPU and SoC architecture teams. The role focuses on modeling, analysis, and validation of chip and system architectures and features that advance performance and efficiency in high-performance computing.
Responsibilities
- Model and analyze SoC and systems algorithms and features across datacenter, automotive, and client products.
- Build and deliver SoC platforms that enable a shift-left approach for software teams and align with project milestones.
- Work closely with SoC architects and guide modeling teams in delivering high-quality functional models involving SoC and GPU use cases.
- Collaborate with EDA partners to align on customer-facing technologies.
- Develop tests, test plans, and testing infrastructure for new architectures and features, including code coverage analysis and reporting.
- Ensure alignment between NVIDIA's modeling teams, GPU modeling teams, and overseas modeling teams.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience, with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong programming ability in C++ and C.
- Good understanding of build systems such as CMake and Make, toolchains such as GCC and MSVC, and libraries including STL and Boost.
- Computer architecture background, with experience in modeling using SystemC and TLM preferred.
- Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, Python, and Perl.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a distributed team environment.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary is determined by location, experience, and compensation for employees in similar positions. The base salary ranges are USD 152,000–241,500 for Level 3 and USD 184,000–287,500 for Level 4. The role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
