The team develops and supports infrastructure tools used by design engineers for building and verifying architectural, RTL, and gate-level designs. As a senior software engineer, you will create highly efficient software to automate and facilitate chip design and verification processes.

Responsibilities

  • Build reliable, scalable, high-performance software that is easy to use by hundreds of engineers worldwide.
  • Design and develop backend and frontend components of web applications.
  • Develop web tools using Golang, TypeScript, and JavaScript to manage product definitions at the hardware level.
  • Research and develop software solutions that improve efficiency for architecture, hardware, and software teams.
  • Optimize the daily workflows of chip modelers and designers.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Golang and Unix/Linux.
  • Proven knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript.
  • In-depth understanding of database concepts and object modeling.
  • Solid understanding of algorithms, computer architecture, and computer science theory.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Six or more years of software development experience.
  • Flexibility and adaptability when working in a global and dynamic environment with different frameworks and requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker or container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of Ruby.
  • Ability to read and understand C++, especially modern C++.
  • Passion for software engineering.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary is determined by location, experience, and compensation for similar positions. The base salary range is USD 184,000–287,500 for Level 4 and USD 224,000–356,500 for Level 5. The role also includes eligibility for equity and benefits.
