Senior Network Engineer - DGX Cloud

NVIDIA is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to develop reliable, scalable, and efficient cloud network infrastructure supporting software development workflows and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, compute resource management, and developer productivity tools. The network supports NVIDIA's software stack, ranging from graphics drivers and autonomous vehicles to deep learning frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall architecture and design of cloud network infrastructure, including intra-data-center, inter-data-center, corporate IT, and Internet connectivity.
• Implement, manage, and troubleshoot complete network stacks.
• Automate network infrastructure end to end, including provisioning, management, and monitoring.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of large-scale IP networking technologies and protocols, including MP-BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, VRF, VXLAN, EVPN, QoS, GRE, IPsec, DNS, and MACsec.
• Hands-on experience with peering and data-center interconnect technologies, including PNI, transit, exchange, passive DWDM, and wave circuits.
• Ability to write and understand Python and Shell scripts and programs for automation tools, frameworks, dashboards, and alarms.
• Understanding of network virtualization technologies such as VRFs and VXLAN.
• Familiarity with Arista, Cumulus OS, Fortinet OS, and similar platforms.
• Expertise in network engineering, particularly underlay networks.
• Strong track record implementing network services in distributed computing environments.
• Experience architecting, building, and deploying large-scale networks serving thousands of machines and users.
• Familiarity with designing and building points of presence (POPs) and large-scale WANs.
• Hands-on experience with high-performance networking and network optimization in highly available, large-scale, multisite, international environments.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Eight or more years of network engineering experience, particularly with Arista switches.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building tooling and automation for provisioning, monitoring, and managing network infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing networks at scale, including automated deployments such as zero-touch provisioning (ZTP).
• Passion for innovating and investing in groundbreaking technologies.
