NVIDIA is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to develop a cloud network infrastructure. The goal is to craft a reliable, scalable and efficient network to support NVIDIA software development workflows and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, compute resource management flow and developer productivity tools. The network serves needs across the whole software stack for NVIDIA from Graphics Drivers to Autonomous Vehicles to Deep Learning frameworks. To achieve this goal, the team seeks an engineer with a deep understanding of L3 underlay networks, outstanding design skills and a track record in building and delivering large-scale networks.
Responsibilities
- Lead the overall architecture and design of the cloud network infrastructure including intra-DC, inter-DC, Corp IT, and Internet connectivity.
- Implement, manage and troubleshoot entire network stacks.
- Automate network infrastructure end-to-end including provisioning, management and monitoring.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge in large scale IP networking technologies and protocols such as MP-BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRF, VXLAN, EVPN, QoS, GRE, IPSEC, DNS, MACsec.
- Hands-on experience with peering and datacenter interconnect technologies: PNI, Transit, Exchange, Passive DWDM, Wave circuits.
- Ability to write and understand Python and Shell scripts/programs for automation, tools, frameworks, dashboards and alarms.
- Understanding of network virtualization (VRFs, VXLAN). Familiarity with Arista, Cumulus OS, Fortinet OS. Expert in underlay network design.
- Strong track record of implementing network services in distributed computing environments.
- Experience architecting, building, and deploying networks at large scale (1000s of machines), used by thousands of people. Familiar with designing and building POPs and large-scale WANs.
- Hands-on experience with high-performance network and network optimization in highly-available, large-scale, multisite, international environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- 8+ years of experience in networking, especially experience with Arista switches.
- BS degree or equivalent experience.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary is determined by location, experience, and internal pay parity.
- Base salary ranges posted: $168,000 - $264,500 USD for Level 4; $200,000 - $322,000 USD for Level 5.
