Senior Product Designer, Coinbase One

Coinbase's Financial Services & Loyalty (FSL) team is building products that make Coinbase the best place to deposit, hold, and grow money. The Coinbase One (CB1) pillar owns the membership product, which has more than 1 million paid subscribers. As a Senior Product Designer on the FSL team within the Consumer & Business group, you will own the Coinbase One member experience, shape the member home, engagement and retention flows, and create campaign expressions that drive subscriber value and reduce churn.

Coinbase is a remote-first, but not remote-only, company. Employees are expected to meet quarterly for in-person working sessions called “surges.”

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for the CB1 Member Home, engagement surfaces, and retention flows across mobile and web.
• Drive the member home redesign, a P0 initiative creating a persistent, personalized destination for CB1 subscribers.
• Design campaign expressions such as Member Month and Member Week, gamification mechanics such as streaks and challenges, and discovery surfaces that increase benefit attach rates.
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering to shape the roadmap, scope, and delivery of high-quality features at velocity.
• Collaborate with Product Creative on campaign visual expression and establish the design standard for key CB1 moments.
• Contribute to design critiques, peer reviews, and team culture as a senior individual contributor.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience shipping consumer-facing products at scale across mobile and web.
• A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design from strategy through execution, including clear evidence of UX thinking and visual craft.
• Experience designing membership, loyalty, or engagement-driven products, including subscriptions, rewards, or retention experiences.
• Ability to ship iteratively in ambiguous problem spaces while maintaining a cohesive long-term vision.
• Experience collaborating directly with engineering teams and incorporating technical constraints into design decisions.
• Proven systems thinking across multiple entry points and surfaces, resulting in cohesive cross-platform experiences.
• Responsible use of generative AI, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

Compensation

• Annual base salary: $180,370–$212,200 USD, excluding equity and bonus.
• Total compensation may also include equity, bonus eligibility, and medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.
