  • Collaborate with sales and cross-functional teams to shape and execute account strategies that drive GitLab adoption in government environments.
  • Create Customer Success Plans capturing technical success criteria and handoff details to ensure smooth deployment and adoption.

  • Run Value Stream Assessments to identify opportunities for customers to improve software delivery with GitLab.
  • Mentor other Solutions Architects, contribute to team learning initiatives, improve technical collateral and documentation, and share subject matter expertise internally.

Requirements

  • Background in technical pre-sales, consulting, or information technology roles, ideally with U.S. public sector or federal customers, guiding customers through evaluations and solution design.
  • Hands-on experience using GitLab and familiarity with modern software development and operations practices such as CI/CD, DevSecOps, and automation.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms and related technologies in regulated or security-conscious environments.
  • Ability to connect technical solutions to measurable business or mission outcomes and advise senior stakeholders on tradeoffs and options.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills; comfortable leading customer meetings, demos, and value-focused conversations in partnership with sales and cross-functional teams.
  • Interest in continuous learning, mentoring, and applying transferable experience to deepen expertise in GitLab, AI, and DevSecOps.
