Details

We are looking for a hardworking and engaged Senior QA Software Engineer with networking experience to join the System Ethernet QA Team. The team tests and qualifies NVIDIA Ethernet Switch solutions, learns new features, designs and executes tests, and develops Python-based automation.

Responsibilities

Review architecture designs and requirements for new product features.
Design, develop, and execute tests for new features as part of software general availability and update releases.
Report bugs found during test execution, assist with reproduction and debugging to understand root causes, verify fixes provided by the R&D team, and raise issues when fixes are incomplete.
Execute regression, performance, functional, and security system tests for Ethernet protocols.
Write automated tests and framework APIs using Python.
Handle multiple tasks in parallel, prioritize effectively, and execute responsibilities reliably.

Requirements

Practical or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in QA and networking.
Proven networking knowledge and hands-on experience with switching and routing.
Confident understanding of routing protocols and technologies, including BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, and OSPF.
Understanding of multicast features, including PIM and IGMP.
Understanding of QoS features, including PFC, ECN, and RoCE.
Automation and scripting experience with Python and Linux Bash.
Clear verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications

CCNP, CCIE, or similar certification.
Experience with Python automation and source control tools such as Git or SVN.
Good Linux and Linux kernel knowledge, with LPIC-2 Linux administration-level expertise.
Experience with compute and virtualization environments such as Linux KVM, VMware, and ESXi.

Compensation

For Poland, the base salary range is PLN 157,500–273,000 for Level 3 and PLN 206,250–357,500 for Level 4. Base salary is determined based on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
