Details
Join NVIDIA's Isaac Applications Engineering team to help build the platform for physical AI robots by assembling the full robotics stack and proving it on real hardware, from simulation through deployment. This role focuses on ensuring that the software is ready to be used by coding agents, customer-facing agents, and embedded agents running on robots.
Responsibilities
- Design APIs, error surfaces, tooling, and documentation so agents can build with the robotics stack as effectively as human engineers across multiple products and teams.
- Create agent skills and automated workflows for use in team repositories.
- Support embedded agents on robots, including code-as-policy and related approaches subject to latency, safety, and determinism constraints.
- Run and integrate skill evaluations to measure agentic workflows and convert evaluations into automated regression checks.
- Own CI/CD across application repositories, spanning CMake, Bazel, and Python builds.
- Manage CI/CD runners, Docker images, dataset provisioning, nightly builds, release pipelines, and documentation pipelines.
- Package successful patterns into documentation, templates, and starter kits, and drive adoption across multiple repositories.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Fluency across software used in robotics stacks, including policy training, simulation, and on-robot deployment, with the ability to work across the relevant languages and toolchains.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Proven Docker and Linux fundamentals.
- Practical experience using coding agents or LLM-based developer tools in professional work, with an understanding of their strengths and limitations.
- A focus on improving engineering productivity and following through to achieve adoption across teams.
- Clear written communication skills for documentation, templates, and influencing teams to change how they work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building agent skills, tool integrations, or MCP servers, and evaluating agent performance systematically.
- Familiarity with NVIDIA robotics products such as Jetson, Isaac Sim/Lab, or Isaac ROS.
- Background in robotics, embedded systems, or another domain where software runs on real hardware.
- Experience managing GPU-backed CI infrastructure or self-hosted runner fleets.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range of USD 152,000–241,500 for Level 3.
- Base salary range of USD 184,000–287,500 for Level 4.
- Base salary is determined by location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
- Eligible for equity and benefits.
- Applications will be accepted at least until August 6, 2026.
- This posting is for an existing vacancy.
- NVIDIA uses AI tools in its recruiting processes.
- NVIDIA is committed to an inclusive work environment and is an equal opportunity employer.
