NVIDIA’s VLSI Productivity and Infrastructure team supports hundreds of chip design engineers by building internal tools and platforms that improve their everyday work. The team works across build automation, machine learning, databases, web applications, on-premises computing, and cloud workloads.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop innovative AI-driven web products to solve big data challenges in chip design.
  • Build high-performance APIs, data pipelines, backend services, and platform infrastructure in a distributed systems environment.
  • Own the technical strategy for broad and complex challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to translate high-level requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Work as an engineering generalist across frontend, backend, and product challenges.
  • Develop the skills needed to solve problems as priorities and requirements evolve.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
  • Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
  • Experience building web applications with modern frameworks, tooling, and design libraries; ReactJS is preferred.
  • Experience building scalable APIs and backend systems; NodeJS and/or Python are preferred.
  • Experience with data storage solutions and query optimization, such as MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and AWS S3.
  • Familiarity with orchestration, containerization, CI/CD, and observability methodologies.

  • Passion for test-driven development and engineering best practices.
  • An eye for designing functional and intuitive user experiences.
  • Eagerness to learn and perform beyond previous experience and expertise.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $184,000–$287,500 for Level 4.
  • Base salary range of $224,000–$356,500 for Level 5.
  • Eligibility for equity and benefits.
  • Salary is determined based on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
