Details

NVIDIA is developing the next era of computing using AI and GPU technology. The Traffic and Networking team is building innovative solutions for cloud infrastructure, collaborating with engineers, architects, and managers to deliver secure and efficient software for global customers.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across teams to develop and deliver scalable software for new cloud infrastructure.
  • Design, build, and maintain network and systems automation solutions for highly dynamic, multi-tenant environments.
  • Work closely with partners to understand requirements and ensure an outstanding user experience.
  • Contribute to and lead open-source projects and communities relevant to the team’s work.
  • Share roadmaps, technical demonstrations, and vision with collaborators and leaders.
  • Own work from initial development through production, ensuring reliable execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 12 or more years of experience designing and building distributed systems.
  • Advanced programming skills in one or more of C, C++, Go, or Rust.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining APIs.
  • Knowledge of asynchronous programming, threading, state machines, and data structures.
  • Experience with data persistence and storage, including SQL or equivalent technologies.
  • Understanding of secure communication protocols such as mutual TLS and IPsec.
  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and protocols, including IP, IPv6, BGP, HTTP, ICMP, and tunneling protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working at a hyperscale cloud service provider.
  • Experience designing, operating, or automating EVPN/VXLAN fabrics and other overlay networking solutions.
  • Deep familiarity with IPv6 deployment, routing, address management, and dual-stack cloud environments.
  • Experience with BGP-based network architectures, traffic engineering, and scalable routing design.
  • Familiarity with host management technologies such as DHCP, Redfish, and UEFI.
  • Familiarity with security services including TPM, TXT, and Secure Boot.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range is USD 224,000–356,500 for Level 5 and USD 272,000–431,250 for Level 6. The position is also eligible for equity and benefits. Applications will be accepted at least until September 12, 2026.
