NVIDIA's autonomous driving hardware and software development team is seeking a Senior Software Triage Engineer with strong technical ability to understand architectures, strong scripting experience to automate triage methodologies, and the leadership skills to support engineering teams. This role will support autonomous vehicle software agile iteration and client releases by working with engineering teams, deeply understanding the autonomous driving stack, providing data-based judgments, and delivering high-quality autonomous driving software to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Product, Engineering, Model/Software Development, in-car testing, and Fleet teams on test requests and triage planning.
  • Perform live triage with accurate analysis and debugging steps, and present the top issues by the end of the day.
  • Develop a deep understanding of autonomous driving product definitions and system specifications.
  • Develop and maintain product performance Top N metrics based on triage analysis of in-car and digital testing.
  • Work with collaborating teams to define test and triage targets, requirements, and processes.
  • Supervise and improve triage efficiency and quality.
  • Automate the generation of critical product metrics and robust evaluations for dashboard presentation.
  • Provide triage target vision to help critical metric teams understand the current state of the product and software and prioritize work.
  • Identify root causes, address problems, and drive them to closure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of proven experience with ADAS/AD vehicle testing, digital offline testing, or triage data analysis.
  • Strong technical ability, with the capacity to work from low-level details to a high-level vision of the work.
  • Experience with vehicle or system integration, software component debugging, and large-scale autonomous driving vehicle testing.
  • Experience troubleshooting and working with triage workflows, including replay and simulation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for reporting top issues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a sense of ownership.
  • Strong scripting and tools development skills are a plus.
  • Expert interpersonal and collaboration skills, including the ability to guide and influence others in a dynamic work environment.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary range: USD 152,000–253,000 per year.
  • Eligible for equity and benefits.
