NVIDIA is developing next-generation computing platforms powered by AI, GPUs, and accelerated computing. This high-impact technical leadership role focuses on architecting NVIDIA's next-generation client platforms and building scalable, automated, agentic ecosystems for global endpoint infrastructure. The role will establish the vision for platform service delivery and drive improvements in reliability, security, and developer productivity through advanced software engineering practices.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and build scalable tooling and services for client platforms, establishing the end-to-end technical strategy for platform automation and service delivery.
  • Apply codified principles to ensure repeatable, auditable, and version-controlled changes across a global, heterogeneous client environment.
  • Set and enforce technical standards for platform automation, mentor other engineers, and drive the adoption of modern software engineering practices across IT.
  • Collaborate with Security, Networking, and Product teams to improve platform reliability and the internal developer experience.
  • Serve as the primary architect for sophisticated service delivery challenges, driving root-cause analysis and long-term remediation for core platform services.
  • Influence and recommend changes to policies, standards, and architectural direction, and establish procedures that impact multiple teams or the broader organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent experience, in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 12 or more years of experience in client platform engineering.
  • Expert-level client platform engineering experience and a proven track record of managing global endpoint fleets at scale.
  • Mastery of Configuration as Code and Infrastructure as Code methodologies, such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Experience with Git-based CI/CD workflows.
  • Demonstrated success building internal tooling, command-line tools, or microservices that automate complex platform operations.
  • Strong software development skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Rust, applied to systems engineering and platform tooling.
  • Strong communication and partner management skills, with the ability to align diverse teams around a common platform vision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong experience engineering Windows client environments, particularly in large-scale enterprise settings.
  • Familiarity with building AI models or agents to enhance platform automation and self-healing capabilities.
  • Dedication to the end-user experience, with a history of using data and feedback to drive user-focused platform improvements.
  • Experience with macOS client platform engineering.

Benefits

The base salary range is USD 200,000–322,000 per year, determined by location, experience, and compensation for similar positions. The role also includes eligibility for equity and benefits.

Applications will be accepted at least until July 24, 2026. NVIDIA uses AI tools in its recruiting processes and is an equal opportunity employer.
