NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its automotive performance team. You will work on groundbreaking projects involving AI, accelerated computing, and automotive technology, contributing to performance solutions for the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize system software for NVIDIA automotive performance platforms with Safe RTOS.
  • Collaborate with Hardware Architecture, DriveOS, Power, and Test teams to track boot and runtime performance benchmarks.
  • Monitor micro benchmarks and industry-standard benchmarks across IPs to ensure software and hardware meet projected targets.
  • Develop innovative features in automotive profiling tools with AI assistance.
  • Benchmark the hypervisor and minimize overhead on ARM systems.
  • Collaborate with the ADAS/AV team to optimize NVIDIA's next-generation stack on Tegra platforms.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 12 years of experience in systems or software performance.
  • Strong C/C++ programming skills and previous automotive-sector experience.
  • Proficiency in Linux and QNX; Android knowledge is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of benchmarking, boot-time optimization, compiler optimizations, and runtime performance improvements.
  • Knowledge of hypervisors, virtualization, and overhead analysis.
  • Experience with profiling utilities to improve system software efficiency.
  • AI/ML experience is highly desirable.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of USD 224,000–356,500 for Level 5 or USD 272,000–431,250 for Level 6, based on location, experience, and pay for similar positions.
