Details
Join the NVIDIA Developer Tools team to develop performance analysis and profiling tools used by engineers working on Automotive, VR, Gaming, Deep Learning, and High Performance Computing products. You will help advance performance analysis and tuning for future generations of NVIDIA GPUs and enable compute developers to harness their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Develop compute performance analysis tools for GPUs running on Linux, Windows, and embedded operating systems.
- Work with tools, architecture, and driver teams to design, implement, and verify new features in the compute profiler stack.
- Write fast, effective, maintainable, reliable, and well-documented code.
- Work closely with internal and external partners, including peer organizations within NVIDIA.
- Provide peer reviews focused on performance, scalability, and correctness.
- Document requirements and designs, and review documentation with partners.
- Contribute to the continued development of technical and non-technical abilities.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Strong programming ability in C, C++, and scripting languages.
- Strong software design and debugging skills.
- Extensive hands-on programming experience.
- Knowledge of a GPU compute API such as CUDA, OpenCL, or similar.
- Experience with assembly code patching on CPUs or GPUs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience writing performance or correctness tools.
- Familiarity with performance analysis tools.
- Background in a field requiring high-performance computing.
- Knowledge of GPU hardware architecture and compiler technologies.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range: $152,000–$241,500 for Level 3.
- Base salary range: $184,000–$287,500 for Level 4.
- Salary is determined based on location, experience, and compensation for employees in similar positions.
- Eligibility for equity and benefits.
