Details

The Exposure Management group builds products that help customers discover their attack surface, assess risk across assets, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations, and decide what to fix first. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will serve as the group's senior technical leader across all teams. You will define the architecture, lead the group's use of AI, and connect teams to deliver one unified product.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the architecture across Exposure Management, from vision through production.
  • Lead high-impact, cross-team projects hands-on and act as the technical link that keeps teams aligned.
  • Drive AI adoption in development through AI-assisted engineering and in products through LLM- and agent-based features.
  • Set engineering standards and make pragmatic trade-offs involving technology and technical debt.
  • Partner with Product and leadership to translate business goals into technical strategy.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of hands-on software engineering experience, including experience as a tech lead.
  • Proven experience designing large-scale distributed and event-driven systems using technologies such as Kafka and SQS.
  • Experience building high-scale APIs and data models.
  • Strong hands-on coding skills and a solid foundation in system design, algorithms, and testing.
  • Strong ownership, cross-team influence without formal authority, clear communication, and comfort with ambiguity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Practical experience building with large language models, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agents, and evaluation.
  • Experience driving AI adoption within engineering teams.
  • A background in cybersecurity, especially vulnerability management, attack surface management, or CNAPP.
