Details

In this role you will lead the DGX Cloud Fleet Configuration initiative with a strong focus on operational rigor and cross-functional collaboration. You will ensure the GPU fleet runs on certified, updated software and firmware across a varied and fast-expanding infrastructure. The role partners closely with Engineering, SRE, Capacity Operations, EngOps, and cloud providers to maintain accurate version tracking, timely patching routines, and clear leadership reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the fleet configuration compliance program from start to finish; establish owner accountability across organizations and track measurable improvements in fleet currency.
  • Build and maintain the source-of-truth tracking system for software and firmware versions across all fleet segments, cloud providers, and hardware platforms.
  • Identify and close dashboard and reporting gaps by partnering with Engineering and EngOps to ensure version state, patch status, and drift are visible in real time.
  • Run program mechanics: owner collection, recurring leader follow-ups, address critical issues that could delay progress, and produce EngOps status reporting.
  • Anticipate configuration drift risks with new hardware bring-ups and cloud provider expansions; work with Infrastructure teams to mitigate gaps.
  • Communicate fleet configuration status and risk clearly to senior leadership, translating complex multi-system state into decision-ready narratives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Technical Program Management experience, with at least 3 years in infrastructure, platform, or systems-focused domains.
  • Proven ability to run complex cross-organizational programs: define ownership structures, drive accountability across distributed teams, and maintain momentum without direct authority.
  • Experience building or managing configuration tracking, patch management, or compliance reporting programs at scale.
  • Strong data and tooling instincts: identify dashboard gaps, define appropriate metrics, and work with engineering to close them.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a single source of truth across a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Excellent executive communication skills; able to translate fleet state and risk into clear, actionable narratives for senior leadership.
  • MS in EE, CS, or equivalent experience.

Ways to Stand Out

  • Familiarity with NVIDIA GPU architectures and DGX/HGX infrastructure.
  • Experience with software/firmware patch management or configuration compliance in large-scale cloud or HPC environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Grafana, Superset, or similar observability/BI tooling.
  • Background in cloud-native infrastructure, Kubernetes, or large-scale distributed systems.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary ranges (determined by location, experience, and internal pay bands):
    • Level 4: 168,000 USD - 258,750 USD
    • Level 5: 200,000 USD - 322,000 USD
  • Eligible for equity and company benefits (link to benefits referenced in original posting).

Additional Information

  • Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States (full-time).
  • Applications accepted at least until July 17, 2026.
  • NVIDIA uses AI tools in its recruiting processes. NVIDIA is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
