Senior Product Manager, Infrastructure Observability

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Infrastructure Observability. This fully remote role is focused on Grafana Cloud products spanning Kubernetes Monitoring and Cloud Provider Observability. The role will define product vision and strategy, lead the roadmap, conduct customer discovery, and drive alignment across Engineering, Design, UX, and go-to-market teams.

Responsibilities

• Transform ideas and customer feedback into product vision and roadmap.
• Empathize with customer problems to collect user needs, requirements, and pain points.
• Curate and represent user feedback to Engineering, providing evidence for trade-offs and priorities.
• Work with Product Marketing Management to support go-to-market activities and communicate product differentiation through presentations, documentation, website content, datasheets, and whitepapers.
• Make decisions about go-to-market strategies, pricing, packaging, licensing, and tiering.
• Define the long-term strategy for Infrastructure Observability, including net-new initiatives such as Host Monitoring.
• Maintain strong roadmaps and customer satisfaction for mature products.
• Establish integration touchpoints with Grafana Cloud Knowledge Graph and Grafana Assistant to provide a seamless monitoring experience across different layers of customer architectures.
• Build consensus and alignment across multiple Engineering groups and stakeholders.

Requirements

• BS/BA in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of Product Management experience.
• 5+ years of experience with B2B SaaS products.
• Experience using or building developer-facing tools, APIs, or platform services.
• Ability to discuss APIs, data models, schema evolution, and distributed systems concepts.
• Experience driving adoption of shared services or platform capabilities across multiple product teams.
• Experience working with Engineering and Design teams to build products and features in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Bonus Points

• Experience with open-source software or commercial open-source companies.
• Experience using or building observability products or developer tools, either as an SRE or for external customers.
• Proficiency with infrastructure concepts and components such as Kubernetes, cloud service providers, and virtual machines.
• Experience with AI tools.
