NVIDIA is seeking an experienced software project management leader to help define, build, and complete end-to-end solutions spanning the entire chip silicon life cycle for embedded, automotive, and data center applications.
NVIDIA is building platforms and solutions for robotics, autonomous machines, and data centers. This role will coordinate and implement software activities for next-generation Tegra system-on-chip products and is part of the core diagnostic team for all SoC-related activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute all aspects of Tegra Diagnostic Software planning and execution, including the Diagnostic POR, pre-silicon development, pre-silicon diagnostic validation, silicon and platform bring-up, and productization.
- Identify and drive technical and logistical activities, including managing complex project schedules, removing roadblocks, and meeting silicon and platform milestones.
- Ensure teams provide all required collateral for the software product life cycle development process.
- Schedule and lead status meetings and communicate progress and status across key collaborators and dependencies in multiple geographic locations.
- Partner closely with product design teams to define, prioritize, and execute bring-up of custom requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering, electronics engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Eight or more years of overall experience in related areas.
- Deep understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Proven software technical program management experience in a matrix organization.
- Strong understanding of systems architecture, including CPUs, memory, buses and interconnects, power management, operating systems, and device drivers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record leading software for SoCs and platform bring-up.
- Experience with pre-silicon and post-silicon bring-up of complex SoCs and platforms.
- Experience designing and developing kernels, system software, drivers, or diagnostic software.
- Strong understanding of silicon and platform validation, characterization processes, SoC microarchitecture, and platform architecture.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range is $136,000–$218,500 USD for Level 4 and $176,000–$276,000 USD for Level 5. Compensation will be determined based on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
