NVIDIA is developing the next era of computing across GPUs, AI, robotics, and self-driving cars. Join the Tegra software team to work on security, system software, and innovative System-on-Chip technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop bare-metal firmware, software, and applications for security use cases and proofs of concept.
  • Handle and debug security and system software issues for Tegra SoCs.
  • Work on Root of Trust (ROT) implementation in the cryptographic security system.
  • Participate in the silicon lifecycle, including pre-silicon simulation and emulation, test validation, and power-on bring-up.
  • Specify and implement test cases while improving test automation and software quality.
  • Collaborate with architecture and software and hardware teams to improve next-generation NVIDIA SoCs.
  • Engage with technology partners to ensure seamless integration and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of relevant software development experience.
  • Strong system software engineering skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Proficiency in programming and debugging with C, C++, and Assembly language.
  • Experience with Rust and Ada/SPARK is a plus.
  • Understanding of operating system internals, embedded systems, and security software.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, work independently, and communicate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with GPU and SoC technology and advanced architecture topics such as Security Enclave, Secure Boot, Root of Trust, runtime security services, confidential computing, and cryptography.
  • Ability to lead security initiatives and mentor other engineers.
  • Published research or contributions to the security community.
  • Understanding of Security SDLC and standards such as ISO 26262 Safety and ISO 21434 Security.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Base salary range of $152,000–$241,500 for Level 3.
  • Base salary range of $184,000–$287,500 for Level 4.
  • Eligible for equity and benefits.
  • Salary is determined by location, experience, and pay for employees in similar positions.
