NVIDIA is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead teams developing accelerated image and data processing solutions. The role involves building software that supports artificial intelligence, deep learning, image classification, natural language processing, and other advanced technology applications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of highly skilled engineers focused on accelerated image and data processing solutions.
  • Lead and empower the team to deliver projects that meet internal and external customer needs.
  • Build and maintain project roadmaps aligned with company goals and customer expectations.
  • Define project goals and scope, ensuring successful execution and delivery.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment that promotes innovation and creativity.
  • Collaborate effectively with distributed teams and the open source community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Math, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least five years of experience, including three or more years in team management.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Experience designing and testing large-scale software, supported by solid examples from previous work.
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python.
  • Experience with parallel programming and performance optimization on modern computer architectures, such as CUDA, MPI, NVSHMEM, NCCL, and AVX.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with image processing concepts and algorithms, including geometric transformations, filtering, morphological operations, and color models.
  • Knowledge of image and data compression formats and algorithms, including JPEG, TIFF, PNG, DEFLATE, zstd, and ANS.
  • Experience working with distributed teams across different locations.

  • Base salary range of USD 200,000 to USD 322,000 per year, determined by location, experience, and compensation for similar positions.
