Details
NVIDIA is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Robotics Neural Reconstruction & Real2Sim Applications team within the Isaac Engineering organization. The team focuses on robotics software and applied research for real2Sim technologies, digital twins, physical AI, and scalable simulation workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of robotics software and applied research engineers.
- Define, plan, and execute projects involving 3D reconstruction, digital twin creation, and robot simulation and validation tools.
- Guide the advancement of Real2Sim and its integration into robot learning development.
- Design, implement, and deploy novel algorithms for neural reconstruction, Real2Sim, and real-world applications and validation.
- Collaborate with Isaac Sim/Lab, Platform, and SQA teams to deploy, validate, extend, and release capabilities on physical robots and at-scale simulations.
- Ensure effective integration, validation, and release of applied research efforts in collaboration with research teams and on NVIDIA's robotics platforms.
- Foster innovation and collaboration through prototypes, open-source software contributions, patents, and publications.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, hardware, and software teams to translate engineering work into impactful products.
Requirements
- PhD or master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience working with robotics and deep learning technologies.
- 3+ years of experience in technical leadership or team management in robotics, autonomous driving, machine learning, or related domains.
- Strong hands-on programming skills in Python and/or C++.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
- Experience with physics simulation tools such as Isaac Sim/Lab and MuJoCo.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with robot learning, including imitation or reinforcement learning, and robot perception.
- Experience with robot simulation tools and robot deployments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership in projects involving neural reconstruction and/or generative simulations.
- Experience with large-scale model training on GPU clusters.
- Hands-on experience with robotics simulation, sim-to-real, and real-to-sim transfer.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary for Level 3: USD 224,000–356,500 per year.
- Base salary for Level 4: USD 272,000–431,250 per year.
- Eligible for equity and benefits.
