Details

Nebius is building a full-stack AI cloud platform for data and model training through production deployment. The company operates globally, with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America, and Israel.

The role focuses on building software and services that make network operations safe, scalable, and reliable across expanding data center deployments. This includes tooling between the network core—switches, ports, VLANs, and traffic processors—and the cloud platform.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain services and tooling that automate the network lifecycle, including day-0 provisioning, day-N changes, drift detection, and operational verification.
  • Develop CI/CD workflows, diff and review tooling, staged rollouts and rollbacks, audit trails, and guardrails for safe and transparent network changes.
  • Build observability systems that scale across multiple sites, including telemetry pipelines, signal-quality systems, and incident investigation tooling.
  • Integrate source-of-truth data, expose APIs, and develop reliable automation connecting the network and cloud platform.
  • Collaborate with network engineers and SREs to turn operational challenges into product-quality tooling.
  • Manage large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Break down complex tasks and guide personal work and the work of more junior colleagues.
  • Contribute to system architecture and design.
  • Participate in hiring and interviews.
  • Share knowledge and mentor other team members.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong coding skills and an ownership mindset, with the ability to ship and operate reliable services.
  • Proficiency in Go or willingness to transition to Go.
  • Python is welcome; other programming languages may be useful for open-source debugging and fixes.
  • Interest in infrastructure and/or networking; extensive network expertise is not required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Networking background, such as prior network engineering experience, CCNP training or education, or data center networking exposure.
  • Experience building automation or infrastructure tooling, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, testing and staging environments, or network-as-code workflows.
  • Low-level networking or datapath experience with eBPF/XDP, DPDK, kernel networking, or traffic-processing systems.
  • Experience designing high-load services and observability platforms covering metrics, logs, traces, alerting, and regression detection.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or experience extending and debugging open-source components in production environments.
  • Expertise in specific technologies and the ability to write high-quality reference code.
  • Strong architectural thinking and the ability to prioritize high-impact work.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation and benefits packages.
  • Career growth and learning opportunities.
  • Flexibility and ownership.
  • Collaborative and innovative culture.
  • Opportunity to work on impactful AI projects.
  • International environment and talented teams.
