The Bloomberg CTO Office is the future-looking technical arm of Bloomberg L.P., creating next-generation infrastructure, platforms, frameworks, and applications across the company.

ASKB is an AI-driven conversational interface at the center of Bloomberg's vision for the future of the Bloomberg Terminal experience. It brings agentic AI directly into the Bloomberg Terminal through a coordinated network of AI agents that dynamically access Bloomberg's data, news, research, and analytics to deliver contextual answers to complex questions about markets, companies, and investment ideas.

This role will shape how Bloomberg product teams integrate their capabilities into ASKB at scale. The ASKB Application Framework will provide standards, tooling, documentation, and reusable integration patterns that enable distributed product and engineering teams to expose intelligence, actions, and user experiences through Bloomberg's conversational AI interface.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision and roadmap for the ASKB Application Framework.
• Partner with ASKB application, AI infrastructure, and application platform product teams to define ASKB-specific paved paths, processes, and tooling.
• Identify recurring integration needs across the organization and turn them into reusable framework capabilities rather than one-off implementations.
• Drive adoption of ASKB integration standards by creating learning paths, documentation, examples, product governance mechanisms, and success measures.
• Balance competing investments in integration mechanisms, product governance processes, and product development workflow tooling.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to define integration mechanisms that enable efficient, scaled product delivery.
• Work across engineering, product, UX, data, subject matter experts, and senior leadership in a highly cross-functional environment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in technical product management, platform product management, AI product development, developer platforms, or application frameworks.
• Experience with platforms, frameworks, APIs, SDKs, developer tooling, workflow systems, or shared infrastructure used by multiple product or engineering teams.
• Experience with GenAI products, conversational interfaces, agentic workflows, generative UI, or AI-assisted application experiences.
• Proven ability to create product visions and roadmaps, evaluate technical and user-experience trade-offs, prioritize across stakeholders, and deliver platform capabilities at scale.
• Strong understanding of modern application development practices, including API design, structured data, system integration, observability, documentation, release practices, and production support.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with interoperability standards and emerging agentic AI protocols such as MCP, A2A, and A2UI.
• Experience building paved paths, integration frameworks, developer portals, documentation and learning resources, or self-service tooling for distributed product teams.
• Experience defining platform success metrics, including adoption, integration quality, developer satisfaction, time to production, reliability, usage, task completion, and measurable product impact.
