Technical Project Manager - Data Center Construction

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to oversee data center construction fit-outs, leading projects from initial planning through completion and ensuring work is executed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role supports NVIDIA's data center expansion and requires coordinating cross-functional teams, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and delivering projects on time.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Own the planning, execution, and successful delivery of data center construction projects, ensuring all project goals and milestones are met.
• Team Coordination: Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal partners to coordinate all project activities and ensure alignment on objectives and timelines.
• Detailed Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables for construction fit-outs.
• Risk Management: Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop and implement mitigation strategies.
• Budget Management: Coordinate project budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and costs are controlled during the project lifecycle.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all construction activities comply with building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements, maintaining high safety standards on site.
• Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to partners through status reports and presentations, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years proven experience leading construction projects, with strong preference for data center or IT infrastructure project experience.
• In-depth understanding of construction processes, data center technologies, and project management methodologies.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and benefits

• Base salary ranges by level:
  • Level 5: 200,000 USD - 322,000 USD
  • Level 6: 240,000 USD - 379,500 USD
• Base salary will be determined based on location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions.
