The NvSci team within NVIDIA DRIVE Software develops technology for autonomous vehicles. NvStreams is a high-performance inter-process and inter-chip communication library within NVIDIA DRIVE OS. It provides high-integrity data and sensor-processing infrastructure for the NVIDIA DRIVE software platform, enabling developers to build software frameworks and distributed applications that leverage NVIDIA hardware acceleration across data center and vehicle platforms. The technology supports complex, multi-system architectures with strong isolation guarantees and real-time monitoring across the processing pipeline.
NVIDIA is seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead the rapidly growing NvStreams team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a team of highly skilled engineers.
- Drive development of NvSci technology for next-generation automotive and other embedded applications.
- Apply and invent processes to ensure high software quality and reliable schedules.
- Collaborate directly with other groups to align technology development with NVIDIA goals.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of overall relevant experience.
- 4+ years of management experience.
- Prior software development experience.
- Effective written and verbal communication regardless of audience or problem complexity.
- Organizational skills to lead projects and drive software development with a matrix team of globally distributed engineers.
- Experience mentoring and developing engineering staff.
- Background in embedded software development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Agile experience, especially with distributed teams and matrix projects.
- Prior leadership of rapidly growing teams.
- Experience with industrial quality standards, including ASPICE, ISO 26262, and ISO 21434.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range is USD 224,000–356,500, determined based on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The position also includes eligibility for equity and benefits.
