SentinelOne is seeking an Executive Product Leader to own Platform and User Experience. This highly visible, cross-functional leadership role brings together the technical foundation powering SentinelOne's products and the design experience customers rely on. The role leads a team consisting of one Senior Director and three Directors and partners with Engineering, Product, Security Research, and Go-to-Market executives to shape the future of the platform.
The role spans platform architecture and product design, requiring leadership across technical strategy—including multi-tenancy, RBAC, sovereignty, FedRAMP, and API architecture—and design strategy, including research, design systems, and AI-driven UX transformation.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy and roadmap for the Singularity Core Platform, including multi-tenancy, RBAC, regional deployment, sovereignty, FedRAMP, and API surfaces.
- Lead the UX Design team through a transformation toward AI-driven product delivery, emphasizing design judgment and strategic thinking over pixel-level mockups or prototypes.
- Lead the UX Research team across the full portfolio and validate product direction through customer and practitioner feedback.
- Guide major investment and build-versus-buy decisions while balancing speed, scalability, and cost.
- Direct the evolution of shared platform services, including the data foundation, APIs, and integrations powering detection, response, and analytics across the portfolio.
- Set the bar for product design and UX, helping security practitioners move from signal to action with speed and clarity.
- Drive a consistent design system and research practice across the product suite.
- Lead and develop a team of one Senior Director and three Directors, building a scalable, high-performing organization and developing future product leaders.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Security Research, and Go-to-Market leaders to align platform and design decisions with business outcomes.
- Represent the function in executive planning.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- 12–15 or more years of experience across platform engineering, product design/UX, or a combination, with progressively senior leadership roles at high-growth technology companies.
- Direct experience in cybersecurity, enterprise security, or a closely related security-critical domain.
- Experience managing multi-layered organizations, including managers and directors, with a track record of developing leaders.
- Demonstrated success setting and executing strategy for both a technical platform and a design/UX function.
- Strong executive presence and cross-functional influence, including experience operating as part of an executive team and communicating platform and design strategy to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, HCI, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cybersecurity industry experience, particularly in security products, threat detection, or security operations.
- Experience building products for security operations, IT operations, DevOps, or other technical, high-stakes practitioner audiences.
- Familiarity with AI-native and data-intensive platform architecture, including real-time analytics, large-scale data pipelines, and unified data foundations.
- Strong perspective on designing for complexity, including making dense, high-stakes workflows such as alerts, investigations, and response actions clear and efficient.
