ING Hubs Poland is hiring for a full-time platform engineering position supporting data-driven products and a Data Analytics Platform built on Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

Build a platform and support its tenants.
Maintain data analytics platform components.
Develop architectures and conduct experiments.
Prepare cloud-ready, Infrastructure-as-Code-based solutions.
Manage monitoring and alerting for the platform.
Provide on-call support to users.
Contribute to data-driven products within the AAI Delivery & Transformation organization.
Work within a distributed, multinational, and multicultural team using agile, lean, and design thinking methodologies.

Requirements

4+ years of experience or knowledge with GCP.
Experience building data platforms on GCP using managed services such as Cloud Run, Vertex AI, GKE, BigQuery, and Dataproc.
Experience building infrastructure automation services using Golang.
An Infrastructure-as-Code mindset; Terraform is used in the role.
Experience with deployment and provisioning automation tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting.
Ability to clearly express ideas, facts, and opinions, including elaborating complex ideas in design documents.
Understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.

Additional Qualifications

Knowledge of secure authentication and encrypted workloads, including OIDC, KMS, and client/server SSL/TLS.
Contributions to open-source projects.
An automate-everything mindset.

Team Information

The role supports the development of data-driven products within ING's AAI Delivery & Transformation organization. ING is building its Data Analytics Platform in Google Cloud to become more data-driven. The position involves working with modern technologies for processing large amounts of data, developing architectural foundations, aligning business problems with appropriate technologies, and helping the team grow.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture is “Engineer IV.”

Compensation

The expected monthly salary is 13,000–28,000 PLN. The financial ranges specified in the announcement are adjusted and may differ from the range specified in the remuneration regulations.
