Details
NVIDIA is searching for an outstanding Graphics System Software Engineer to join the AI for Experiences team. The team develops advanced graphics and deep learning technologies that bring real-time AI to gamers and creators and collaborates with industry leaders to build new APIs and systems across GPU generations and operating systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust user-mode driver and platform code supporting key NVIDIA graphics technologies.
- Implement graphics APIs and systems across diverse GPU generations and operating systems.
- Ensure backward and forward compatibility across GPU architectures, operating systems, and driver releases.
- Support the design, development, and validation of next-generation graphics processors from design through production.
- Collaborate with graphics software engineers working across gaming, deep learning, application development, system development, and hardware invention.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience writing robust, well-maintained C++.
- 5+ years of experience in platform, driver, or SDK development.
- Strong background in algorithms, data structures, and computer architecture.
- Professional experience with DirectX 12, Vulkan, or other rendering APIs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Windows or Linux user-mode drivers.
- Experience with game development for console, desktop, or mobile environments.
- Familiarity with current security methodologies for writing secure code.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and interpersonal skills.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range is USD 152,000–241,500 for Level 3 and USD 184,000–287,500 for Level 4. The final base salary depends on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
