About the Team

The Growth team drives user and revenue growth across ChatGPT’s consumer and business segments as well as other OpenAI products worldwide. We operate across the full funnel - from awareness and acquisition through activation, retention, and expansion - using a combination of global performance marketing, AI-powered workflows, in-product optimization, insights, experimentation, and creative ops engineering.

About the Role

We are hiring a B2B Paid Marketing leader to own and scale global acquisition across channels, including Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, Affiliate, and emerging channels. This leader will define channel strategy across self-serve and sales-assisted journeys, develop programs for distinct business segments, and own measurable impact from demand creation through customer growth.

You will partner closely with Sales, GTM, product marketing, lifecycle, product, engineering, data science, finance, design, and marketing operations to connect paid campaigns to the right buying journeys. This team thrives on rapid iteration, rigorous measurement, and close feedback loops that improve lead and account quality, conversion, pipeline, and long-term customer value.

In this role, you will:

Responsibilities

  • Own global paid channel strategy across Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, Affiliate, and other channels for B2B audiences, including planning, forecasting, budget pacing, audience design, and performance management.
  • Build and optimize programs across self-serve, product-led, and sales-assisted motions, adapting channel strategy to segment, use case, buyer, and funnel stage.
  • Partner with Sales and GTM teams to align campaigns with revenue priorities, product launches, solution plays, account segments, and regional opportunities.
  • Optimize full-funnel performance from demand capture and qualified leads through activation, pipeline, conversion, expansion, and long-term customer value.
  • Develop B2B audience, offer, and messaging strategies for decision-makers, practitioners, company sizes, industries, and use cases.
  • Create strong feedback loops with Sales and Marketing Operations, using lead quality, account engagement, pipeline progression, and customer insights to improve performance.
  • Drive experimentation and incrementality measurement, translating results into scalable playbooks across markets, segments, and sales motions.
  • Build AI-enabled creative, targeting, reporting, and optimization workflows that increase iteration velocity while maintaining quality and control.

Requirements

You might thrive in this role if you:

  • 8+ years of B2B growth, demand generation, or performance marketing experience, ideally in high-growth technology or subscription businesses.
  • 6+ years of deep, hands-on experience leading paid marketing across channels, including Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, and Affiliate, at both an operational and strategic level.
  • A track record of launching, scaling, and optimizing B2B paid programs at significant budget levels with clear impact on qualified demand, pipeline, or revenue.
  • Experience marketing across self-serve, product-led, and sales-assisted journeys and adapting programs for SMB, mid-market, and enterprise segments.
  • Experience partnering closely with Sales, GTM, product marketing, lifecycle, and marketing operations to build integrated acquisition programs.
  • Strong analytical and measurement skills across experimentation, incrementality, attribution, lead and account quality, pipeline, and unit economics.
  • Experience working with CRM, marketing automation, intent, attribution, and BI systems to connect media signals to downstream business outcomes.
  • Experience scaling B2B programs internationally, including localization and alignment with regional market dynamics and sales motions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, a test-and-learn mindset, and comfort operating in fast-moving environments and adopting AI-enabled workflows.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family, with employer contributions to Health Savings Accounts
  • Pre-tax accounts for Health FSA, Dependent Care FSA, and commuter expenses (parking and transit)
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match
  • Paid parental leave (up to 24 weeks for birth parents and 20 weeks for non-birthing parents), plus paid medical and caregiver leave (up to 8 weeks)
  • Paid time off: flexible PTO for exempt employees and up to 15 days annually for non-exempt employees
  • 13+ paid company holidays, and multiple paid coordinated company office closures throughout the year for focus and recharge, plus paid sick or safe time (1 hour per 30 hours worked, or more, as required by applicable state or local law)
  • Mental health and wellness support
  • Employer-paid basic life and disability coverage
  • Annual learning and development stipend to fuel your professional growth
  • Daily meals in our offices, and meal delivery credits as eligible
  • Relocation support for eligible employees
  • Additional taxable fringe benefits, such as charitable donation matching and wellness stipends, may also be provided.
